Your Opportunity

We are currently seeking candidates for the Recruitment Business Partner position.

Responsibilities

What your day will look like

 

Recruitment & Selection 

  • Complete full-cycle recruitment services for internal clients for technical and non-technical hires, which may include: 
    • work with hiring leads to create effective job ads and candidate profiles
    • coordinate internal and external job ads
    • screen resumes to shortlist candidates
    • coordinate and participate in phone, video conference and in-person interviews to effectively assess and shortlist candidates
    • communicate hiring updates to leads/ teams on a weekly or biweekly basis
    • draft, present and negotiate offers of employment
    • initiate the on-boarding process for new hires

Talent Sourcing & Screening 

  • Provide talent sourcing services for internal clients for technical and non-technical hires, which may include:
  • contribute to Dillon’s talent sourcing strategy 
  • develop, test, and track  customized sourcing strategies to identify top talent for current and future roles
  • source, engage and activate passive candidates through recruiting best practices and programs
  • use of various sourcing strategies, especially Linked In Recruiter
  • headhunt candidates with the ability to promote Dillon as an organization and be able to secure the candidate
  • conduct intake meetings with hiring leads and recruiting business partners
  • create effective job ads and candidate profiles and coordinate job postings
  • screen resumes and complete first interviews to assess and shortlist candidates
  • communicate sourcing updates to key stakeholders
  • support other steps in the recruiting process when required
  • Function as an effective ambassador for Dillon’s employer brand 
  • Build relationships with candidate communities to maintain a network of potential candidates and nurture a pipeline of potential candidates
  • Measure and report on key performance indicators for talent sourcing
  • Oversight of Dillon’s Employee Referral Program
  • Utilize technology as an efficiency driver in identifying top talent
  • Provide key market insights back to the business to inform future decisions and strategy

  • Input to the career development of junior staff, including technical direction, training recommendations, coaching and mentoring.
  • Contribute to Dillon’s corporate profile through active participation in professional associations and committees

Qualifications

What you will need to succeed

  • Post–secondary degree and/or diploma in a human resources program, or related field
  • CHRP/CHRL designation (completed or in progress) is considered an asset
  • Atleast five (5) or more years’ recruiting experience, ideally in a technical recruiting function
  • Highly proficient in MS Office software (e.g., PowerPoint, Word, Excel)

Experience

  • Demonstrated experience and success simultaneously managing a number of recruiting initiatives, each potentially at different stages in the recruitment process
  • Working effectively within a collaborative and dynamic team of talent acquisition and human resources professionals
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and be well-organized, detail-oriented and results-focused
  • A proven track record in handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
